Dr. Stephen J. Piercey is a University Research Professor and Full Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a consulting geologist with Piercey Geosciences Inc. He holds degrees from Memorial University and a PhD from the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Piercey is a leading expert in economic geology, with specialization in Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS), orogenic gold, and uranium systems. He is particularly recognized for his work on Newfoundland’s Cambrian–Ordovician VMS belts, including the Buchans–Mary March corridor. His expertise includes hydrothermal alteration analysis, lithogeochemical vectoring, and the application of real-time portable analytical technologies to improve drill targeting. A prolific author and recipient of numerous awards, including the Duncan R. Derry Medal, Dr. Piercey provides Canterra with applied scientific insight that directly supports discovery-driven exploration.

Dr. Rodney L. Allen is a globally recognized economic geologist with over 40 years of experience in mineral exploration and research, specializing in Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) deposits. He holds a PhD and completed post-doctoral research at Monash University, with a career-long focus on VMS geology and ore systems.

Dr. Allen previously served as Manager of Geology Research and Development at Boliden Group in Sweden and is currently a Consultant Geologist and CEO of Volcanic Resources. He is internationally known for his work interpreting complex ancient volcanic terranes and their associated mineral systems. His research and applied geological interpretations have contributed to major VMS discoveries and resource expansions, including more than 100 million tonnes of mineral resources at the Garpenberg mine in Sweden. Dr. Allen’s work exemplifies a strong research-to-discovery approach that directly supports Canterra’s VMS exploration strategy.

Randy C. Turner, P.Geo, is a highly accomplished professional geologist with more than 50 years of experience in mineral exploration, corporate leadership, and mining finance. His career includes over 20 years with Esso Minerals Canada and AGIP Mining Ltd., where he focused on uranium, gold, and base metals exploration.

Mr. Turner has served as President and CEO of multiple successful public companies, including Trimin Resources Ltd., Winspear Diamonds Inc., Silver Quest Resources Ltd., and Independence Gold Corp. He is best known for leading Winspear Diamonds from the discovery of the Snap Lake diamond deposit through to its acquisition by De Beers Mining for $305 million. In recognition of his contributions to diamond exploration, he was awarded the Hugo Dummett Award in 2007. Mr. Turner brings deep experience in discovery, project development, and strategic asset monetization across the full mineral value chain.

Matthew Penney, P.Geo, is a professional geophysicist and a Qualified Person (QP) under National Instrument 43-101, with over 20 years of international experience in mineral exploration and mining. He has held senior geophysics roles with major mining companies including Anglo American, Lundin Mining, and Glencore, most recently serving as Principal Geophysicist at Glencore.

Mr. Penney is currently President and Consulting Geophysicist of Hardrock Geophysics Inc., where he has led geophysics programs for major and mid-tier mining companies across more than 14 countries. He is widely recognized for his expertise in advanced exploration technologies, including deep-penetrating induced polarization (IP) surveys and 3D geophysical inversion modelling. His work has directly contributed to the identification of high-priority gold and base metal targets and the discovery of new mineralized zones in both greenfield and brownfield settings.

Phil Smerchanski is a senior technical advisor with over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration, specializing in metallic ore systems. He has held senior technical leadership roles with Oxygen Capital and Anglo American, where he provided strategic oversight of exploration portfolios and project pipeline development.

Mr. Smerchanski has extensive experience advancing exploration projects across the Americas, Australia, and Europe, from early-stage greenfield discovery through to advanced brownfield development. His expertise spans resource discovery, mine development, and portfolio-level exploration strategy. He brings proven leadership in guiding multi-project exploration programs and plays a key role in shaping Canterra Minerals’ long-term exploration strategy and project prioritization.

Mr. Moore is a professional geoscientist with more than 30 years of experience in mineral exploration, focused largely on eastern Canada. He has held senior technical roles with industry and government organizations, including Teck Corporation, Anglo American, and the Newfoundland and Labrador Geological Survey.

Mr. Moore holds a Master of Science in Earth Sciences from Memorial University and is registered as a Professional Geoscientist in Newfoundland and Labrador and New Brunswick. As Vice President of Exploration, he brings deep technical expertise in base metals, VMS systems, and Newfoundland’s mineral belts, supporting Canterra’s exploration strategy across its critical minerals and precious metals projects.

Mr. Coleman is a business leader and entrepreneur based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, along with additional professional designations.

Mr. Coleman is currently co-owner of Coleman Brothers, an investment holding company with diversified interests in personal care homes, commercial real estate, and venture-stage companies. Prior to this, he founded BMO Private Banking in Newfoundland, where he led its growth into a billion-dollar wealth management platform. He is recognized for building high-performing teams and fostering a strong client-centric culture based on trust and long-term relationships.

Mr. Serfass is a Strategic Advisor at VRIFY and formerly served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations at Integra Resources Corp. He was a key member of the team at Integra Gold that advanced, developed, and ultimately sold the past-producing Lamaque Mine in Val-d’Or, Québec to Eldorado Gold for C$600 million in 2017.

Mr. Serfass is widely recognized for his commitment to innovation in the mining sector. He played a leading role in launching the 2016 Integra Gold Rush Challenge and the 2017 #DisruptMining Challenge, initiatives designed to encourage technological innovation and industry transformation. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and is passionate about engaging the next generation of mining professionals, investors, and stakeholders.

Ms. Kearney has more than 20 years of experience advising Canada’s mining and capital markets industries, with a particular focus on transactional communications, corporate affairs, and crisis management. She has supported public companies through financings, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory matters, and complex stakeholder communications, bringing deep expertise in strategic messaging and governance-related communications.

Matt Manson, PhD is a geologist and seasoned mining executive with 30+ years of international experience spanning exploration, permitting, mine development, operations, financing, and capital markets. He is currently President & CEO of Radisson Mining Resources Inc., where he is leading the advancement of the Company’s O’Brien Gold Project in Québec. Previously, Matt served as President & CEO of Marathon Gold (2019–2024), where he guided the exploration, development and construction of the Valentine Gold Project in Newfoundland and Labrador through to its successful business combination with Calibre Mining. Prior to Marathon, he was President & CEO of Stornoway Diamond (2008–2018), where he led the financing, development and commissioning of the Renard Project, Québec’s first diamond mine. In recognition of his leadership and contributions to the Canadian mining sector, Matt was named the Northern Miner’s Mining Person of the Year (2017) and received the PDAC Viola MacMillan Award (2015).

Mr. Pennimpede is a professional geologist with a strong focus on corporate development, strategy, and business development within the mineral exploration and mining sector. He has extensive experience working with exploration-stage companies advancing mineral projects through discovery and value creation.

Previously, Mr. Pennimpede served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Contact Gold Corp., a gold exploration company focused on Nevada. Earlier in his career, he held technical and exploration roles with Underworld Resources and Northern Empire Resources. Mr. Pennimpede combines technical geological expertise with capital markets and corporate development experience to guide Canterra’s strategic growth.

Mr. Farncomb is a founding partner of Cairn Merchant Partners LP, an independent merchant bank focused on principal investing. He brings extensive experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance across multiple sectors.

Previously, Mr. Farncomb was a Partner at Paradigm Capital Inc., where he advised public and private companies on financings and strategic transactions across the natural resources, healthcare, consumer, industrial, technology, and media sectors. He also served as a Director of Northern Superior Resources, which was acquired by IAMGOLD in 2025 in a transaction valued at approximately C$375 million (approximately US$267 million).

Ms. Hills is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and public company reporting. She has held increasingly senior finance roles with public mining companies, including KGHM International and Teck Resources.

Ms. Hills began her career in public practice with BDO and KPMG and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration. In addition to serving as CFO, she has extensive experience acting as Corporate Secretary and providing financial and governance consulting services to TSX Venture Exchange–listed mining companies.
